Chee is an over 25 year martial arts veteran with a solid basic in Tae Kwon Do. Her competition credits after 25 National/International Karate Tournaments include


14 First Place titles (including the prestigious 1978 Fort Worth Pro Am National Karate Championship), 6 Second Place, 2 Third Place


3 First Place, 3 Second Place, 8 Third Place titles

Special Award:

Best Female Martial Artist – Hawaii Fitness Classic Championship, 2000

Beginning her 3 year basic training with a first generation student (Dr. Jan Pickett) of Demetrius Havanas (a.k.a. "The Golden Greek") in Dallas, Texas, Chee later received her black belt (after a six year period) in Tae Kwon Do and a few years following, the 2nd Degree Black under the direction of W.K. Luck, a student of General Choi Hon Hi, certified by Nam Tae Hi. She received her 3rd degree black belt in American Karate from John Kyle in Kona, Hawaii. Believing a true martist artist should be well-rounded and be able to adjust quickly to any style, her other martial arts studies include Judo, Hapkido, Akijuitsu, Kickboxing and Kung Fu.
